Historic Bread making -olive oil tasting and wine tasting course.

The course is for those who want to immerse themselves to the world of Cretan historical bread making and baking. The breads will be baked in replicas of ancient bakery ovens and in a traditional oven.

Since no Cretan meal is complete without olive oil and wine, the course is accompanied by an olive oil tasting and a wine tasting. 

10 am - Welcome and Introduction to the Course. We will learn how to re-create Greek historic bread recipes from the 5th century BC to the early nineteenth century.
10.15 - 12.15 - We will make and decorate a number of breads -and a stuffed bread- from historical sources.
12.15 – 13.15 - While breads bake participants get to experience an array of Cretan wines and olive oils.
13.15 – 14.15 - Light historic lunch accompanied by baked breads.

Duration: 4 hours

Fees: The course costs 100  This includes:
